As part of Pokémon GO's December Research, there's an ongoing Evolution event that gives you the chance to get your hands on some Pokémon that you might not have. One of Evolution Event's research tasks is to evolve 10 Pokémon. When you do, you will get a Cheniti.
The Cheniti can be the Plant, Sandy, or Trash version of the Pokémon. Cheniti is generally influenced by her surroundings when it comes to her form, so there's a good chance you can get a form that might not appear near you. Once you get your hands on Cheniti, you can transform them into Wormadan or Papilord.
That's not all you can get from the Evolution event, and some of the rewards are really pretty good. You can find a full list of The Evolution Event Research Task rewards below:
- Evolve a Barpau reward - 3 rare candies
- Evolve an Onix - Insecator
- Evolve 5 Pokémon – 1000 Stardust
- Evolve 10 Pokémon - Cheniti (Plant, Sand or Basket)
- Use an item to evolve a Pokémon reward - Coquiperl
- Catch 5 Onix - Metal coat
- Catch 5 Porygon – Up-Grade
- Catch 10 Hypotrempe reward - Dragon Scale
- Win 10 Ptitard or Ramoloss - King's Rock rewards
- Catch 10 Tournegrin Rewards - Sun Stone
- Hatch 7 eggs as a reward - Sinnoh Stone
- Win 5 Raids as a reward - Magnetic, Glacial, or Mossy Lure
- Win 3 times against the Team Go Rocket Leaders - Unova Stone reward
Some rewards are High Valuable Items, and Sinnoh Stone and Unova Stone are must-haves if you plan on doing more evolutions.
