The next upcoming expansion Destiny 2 is Beyond the Light. It will arrive on September 22, and you can expect to play it, featuring a whole new adventure in a new area called Europa. You can pre-order the new expansion now to prepare for the next series of seasons where you can explore a whole new area, use a new item for your weapons and Guardian, and more enemies to take on you.
You can pre-order the Beyond Light content on this page when Bungie allows it to be uploaded. As of this writing, some players are getting the 404 error when trying to log into it, but it should be in no time. With these errors fixed, you will be able to pre-order the next Expansive Content coming to Destiny 2.
Beyond the Light, the Moon, the Tangled Shore, the Dreaming City, the European Dead Zone, Nessus, the New Europa Zone, and Bungie invite the Cosmodrome, which was a destination in Destiny 1. You can expect to see a handful of areas entering the old vault from Destiny 2, such as Io, Titan, Mercury, Mars, and Levitation will be removed, and you won't be able to play them after Beyond Light. However, you can expect content to return from Destiny 1 to return with some dramatic gameplay rockets and new twists on things moving forward.
Beyond Light is the first step for Bungie to merge content over the next few years with Destiny 2 and 1 content. These new changes are pretty dramatic, but don't think Bungie is working on a sequel. The next two expansions after Witch Queen will be released in 2021, and Light Fall's working title will arrive in 2022. Destiny 3 won't be around for quite a while.
