Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War takes players back to the 1980s as a direct sequel to the first Black Ops title, released in 2010. Fans of the popular sub-series will notice in the cutscene below that the pillars of the series are coming back, but there's something wrong with all of them. Each character revealed to be back has been recast with new voice actors. Here are all of the voice actors we know so far in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War.
Unknown voices
Alex Mason, Frank Woods and Jason Hudson are back in Black Ops Cold War with new voice actors. As of this writing, we don't know who the new voices are, but James C. Burns, the original voice of Frank Woods, has expressed his disappointment at being recast.
Ronald Reagan also makes an appearance in the above cutscene, but we're not sure who is providing the vocals at this time. Additionally, we don't know what Reagan's presence in the game will be.
We'll update this article once we know who provides the voices for these characters.
Bruce thomas
Bruce Thomas is the voice of Russell Adler, a newly introduced secret agent in the trailer above. At the time of this writing, we don't know much about him.
Thomas made an appearance as Sid Redburn in Gears Tactics, Colonel Ezra P. Loomis in Gears of War: Judgment and voiced various characters in Rise of the Tomb Raider, Fallout 4 and Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII . He was also the motion capture actor for Master Chief in Halo 4 and Halo 5: Guardians.
Thomas has a history of voicing Commissioner Jim Gordon in several Batman animated films, as well as General Zod and Darkseid in Justice League: Gods and Monsters. In theatrical releases, he appeared in Revenge of a Blonde and Legally Blonde 2, Pass Hall, and Army of Darkness.
Navid Negahban
Navid Negahban plays the main antagonist in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War which goes through Perseus. He's a Soviet spy and we don't know his plans or goals yet. This isn't the first time Negahban has appeared in Black Ops, he provided the voices for various NPCs in Black Ops II. He has also appeared in Assassins Creed: Revelations, Medal of Honor (2010), Prince of Persia: Forgotten Sands and in the Netflix series Castlevania as Sala.
Negahban is probably best recognized as playing the Sultan in Disney's live-action remake of Aladdin and Abu Nazir in Homeland. He also appeared in 12 Strong American Sniper, and Charlie Wilson's War.
Damon dayoub
Damon Dayoub plays Lazar Azoulay, who has not been revealed to date. He's had a few voice-over credits in past video games including Nemesis in Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite, various NPCs in Red Dead Redemption II, and other NPCs in Halo Wars 2.
Dayoub is best known for playing Adam Eshel in NCIS, Detective Quincy Fisher in Stitchers, and he has appeared in several other television series, including Chicago Fire, Dallas, and Costume.
Reggie Watkins
Reggie Watkins lends his voice to Lawrence Sims. Not much is known about Lawrence at this point, but we saw him working with Russel Adler in the initial trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. The only other video game he's been credited with at this point is multi-voice play in The Walking Dead: Saints and Sinners.
Watkins is best known for appearing in This Is Us, Bosch, Justified and Key and Peele in supporting roles.
Lily Cowles
Lily Cowles voices Helen Park, who has yet to be revealed in the game. This is her first appearance in a video game.
Cowles is best known for playing Germaine Healy in Brain Death and Isobel Evans in Roswell, New Mexico. She also appeared in Jones Against the World, Joe Goes to Therapy, and Enchantments.
