What is the maximum level in Black Ops Cold War?
The maximum level in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is 55. Reaching level 55, however, is not the end of the journey. Once you gain enough EXP to level up again after reaching level 55, you will enter the Seasonal Leveling system and become Prestige 1. After reaching level 55, you will have unlocked all of the items in the game and you won't need to start over from the Tier 1 army level when the season resets.
Explanation of seasonal levels
Seasonal levels work differently from military ranks. After passing all 55 military ranks, you will enter the seasonal progression system and restart at level 1. The maximum seasonal rank in Black Ops Cold War is 1000, and this level resets each time a new season begins. Currently, Black Ops Cold War is in the preseason phase, and all seasonal levels will reset once the first season begins on December 10th.
Every 50 Season Levels you complete you'll earn a Prestige Key and other rewards. There are three Prestige levels to be earned each season, awarded at 50 level intervals, followed by the Prestige Master at level 200. You can continue to level up to level 1000, earn rewards along the way, but you will not be able to increase your Prestige level until next season adds additional levels.
