Borderlands 3 has received a patch to address some in-game issues. Most of the bug and balance issues listed are fairly easy fixes overall, so don't expect significant system fixes just yet. Most of the balance changes seem to be about drop rates, which helps reduce the loot pinata nature of some aspects of the game a bit.
No mention of things like menu lag, multiplayer issues or more important things of that nature, so I'm guessing the solutions to those issues are more complex and complex. I would expect, however, that a significant parcel would arrive in the pipeline soon.

Bugs
- Yellow paint has been added to Ambermire to mark a more obvious path for completing the Sabotage Crew challenge.
- The New-U station located in front of the Halcyon Suborbital Spaceport (used during the "Space-Laser Tag" mission) in the Metroplex meridian now has a greater activation range.
- The New-U station located in front of Titian's Gate (used during the “Atlas, at last” mission) in the Metroplex meridian now has a wider activation range.
- The first Guardian encountered by a player during the mission "Under the Meridian" is no longer over-leveled.
- The Eridian Chest in Jakob's Domain Cave is no longer invisible.
Balance
- Eridium crystals in the Ravenous Canopy grow less often.
- Reduces the amount of loot in Mayhem mode.
- Torgue shotgun sticky damage has been reduced.
- Reduced elemental damage from E-Tech shooting weapons, which ranges from "flesh of your bones" to "a lot".
- Chupacabratch left too much of his hard-earned loot.
- Adjusted spawn speed of loot baskets in the mansion. They are special again.
- Removed painful sounds from Troy for his boss fight.
Patches are applied in the in-game menu when you start the game. To make sure the patch has been applied, go to the in-game menu and see if “updates are available”.
