Borderlands 3: Vaughn Actor Voice

Fans of the Borderlands series may have been sparked by a handful of cameos and notable new characters in the Borderlands 3 game. Quite a few of them are from previous games. However, some of them are making their way from Tales from the Borderlands game, a Telltale Games title. Vaughn, the leader of the Sun Crushers, is a remarkable character you first meet in the new game. Those who knew him previously recognized him as Rhys' best friend, the Money Man. And yes, Gearbox Software brought in the same voice actor.

Vaughn's Voice Actor in Borderlands 3

Chris Hardwick still plays Vaughn. You can recognize this name from many appearances on TV shows such as The Legend of Korra, Video Game High School, Family Guy, Talking Dead, Talking Talul, Talking Preacher, and countless others. He also appeared in Lego Dimensions as the Green Arrow.

Hardwick's most notable video game voice role comes from the Borderlands franchise. Not only has he appeared in Tales of the Borderlands and Borderlands 3 titles, but he reprized his role as Vaughn in the Borderlands 2 DLC, Commander Lilith and the Fight for Sanctuary. The DLC story was made to connect the stories of Borderlands 2 and 3 to make more sense of the new series. For those who have played the DLC, many may have been waiting to see Vaughn return to the game.

We may see Hardwick return to the character in the future DLC. Vaughn could play a bigger role due to his past with Tales of the Borderlands. Time will tell if Gearbox Software wants to do more. We hope so, and Hardwick is playing a really good character.
