Bravely Default 2 Hear the Wind Blow Walkthrough
Hear the Wind Blow is one of the easiest side quests in Bravely Default 2, which makes sense as it's unlocked shortly after clearing the Outlaw Hideout in the prologue. It's a 1 star difficulty and rewards Just head to the entrance to Halcyonia and speak with the woman near the tower on the other side of the bridge. If you picked One Boy's Quest, she's the second female.
She will tell you about her weird grandpa who loves to listen to the wind blow, but it's supper time and she can't be bothered to pick it up herself (I must love the way the NPCs still confide in us. insignificant tasks). His grandfather is fairly easy to find: head into town and walk down the ramp to the left, where he stands along the edge leading his own business. If you can't find it, it's the blue speech bubble with the down arrow on the left in the image below.
Speak with him to learn that he cares more about the symphony of the breeze than the food itself, and that he will return to dinner when he has had his fill of the sweet, sweet melody of the wind. Go back and cross the bridge to the woman, and tell her grandfather that he has no interest in feeding. She'll laugh at that and send you to tell the old man she's cooking a steak.
Come back to the old man and tell him the news. He'll change his tone quickly, but you'll have to break the news to his granddaughter yourself. Once again, go back to the lady on the bridge and tell his grandfather he's coming home and wants his medium rare steak. You will finally be able to activate Hear the Wind Blow and complete this easy Bravely Default 2 side quest.
