To get to the Black Rock processing area in Control, you need to build yourself a bridge. Start with the maintenance, then follow the signs for the Black Rock treatment area. Eliminate the enemies in the security room. If you keep following the signs, you will come to a giant abyss. To your left and to your right, giant stone bridges. Return to the control room and look for the door to the turbine room.
Go inside and you'll find two spinning turbines, with a gold block plugged into the wall and another empty socket. Move the golden block from the plinth to the empty block to stop the turbines. Now look behind you and you will see more golden blocks. Take one of them with telekinesis, then jump through the turbines. You can run the block if that makes it easier for you.
After going through the turbines, go up the stairs bringing the gold block. Once there, place it in one of the two slots in front of you, then take one from the wall and place it in the other empty slot to stop the turbines.
Jump through the turbines and you will find a switch on the platform. Again, the rule of three applies, so shoot it three times to get sent to the Oceanview Motel.
In the motel, press the front desk bell three times to open the first two doors on the left. The trick here is to make the second piece look like the first. You can move four items into the second room and place them in the following positions.
- The chair should be removed from the desk
- When facing the window, the radio should be on the right side of the window
- The image on the wall should straighten out
- When facing the drawers, the potted plant should be on the left side of the drawers
Once it's all done, you'll hear a noise and the third room opens, so head over and grab the key. Go back to the other side of the hall to the room where the black pyramid is and open it. Head inside to pull the switch three times, and you'll be back on the platform overlooking the Abyss, but this time the bridge you need will exist.
To get back quickly, turn around and take the tunnel that leads to the left, then go down into the security room and follow the signs to the Black Rock treatment area.
