Crash Bandicoot 4: It's Time - How To Beat The Polar Bear Race In Repeat

How to beat the polar bear race in repeat bears

To get started, cycle through the bear repeat level to the end. This is where you will see a polar bear on some ice that you can climb on and start hunting Dr. Neo Cortex. You don't really run it to like catching it, but you just need to get to the end to complete the level.

The good news here is that this breed of polar bears is nowhere near as difficult as some of the original games that were replicated in Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy. However, it can still be quite difficult to complete.

Ice always makes a game more difficult and you will have seen it in everyone in Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time before. It could be even more perilous than ever here due to the fact that the polar bear you are riding on is incredibly slippery.

There are plenty of obstacles to avoid along the way, including the Nitro Boxes that will instantly kill Crash or Coco. There are also a lot of Wumpa fruits and boxes that you want to collect which is very tempting. Unless you're going for a 100% completionist race here, there are certain boxes you'll want to avoid just because they put you in great danger of death.

What you're going to want to do is try to keep your eyes in front of you at all times and train yourself to always be prepared for what's to come. There are chunks of ice and falling trees to avoid, so make sure you go left and jump right over them to stay alive. You'll be doing a lot of back and forth here, so make sure you don't move the analog stick around as much as you want, as the ice will get you there faster than you expected.

You will end up having a checkpoint before an icy hill as you descend and start to have ski enemies attacking you. There will be two at a time in different places taking up 2/3 of the way, so head to the ditch where you don't want to survive. Once you have passed this part, you will just have to avoid the same obstacles and you will end up heading towards the end of the stage.
