How to scan the apartment security system in The Information Quest
First of all, you need to enter the visual layer of the Braindance in order to scan the apartment security systems. Once you're in the yellow visual layer, it's time to research security systems.
Your first targets are at the very start of Braindance, so back out if necessary. Pause the scene as soon as the elevator door opens. Scan the alarm system just outside the elevator to the right, the motion sensor camera above the door to the left of the alarm system, and the giant cyborg named Smasher.
Then you will need to fast forward until Evelyn approaches Yorinobu. There is a second motion sensor camera on the ceiling above Yorinobu, where he sits on the phone. Later in the Braindance, Evelyn and Yorinobu will move into the bedroom. In the area between the sofa and the bedroom, there is a third motion-sensing camera and an automated ceiling turret. After scanning all of these things, the optional objective will be completed.
