Destiny 2 Season of the Undying introduces new Ritual Weapons that you can acquire from three major vendors in the game. The Drifter is one of these vendors and wants to communicate the SMG release strategy to you.
Destiny 2 - How to get the Exit Strategy Gambit Ritual Weapon
To get your hands on the quest, simply go visit the Drifter at the Tower. Interact with it and under Pursuits you will see a challenge called Clean Getaway. Grab this, then prepare to get lost in Gambit matches.
For Clean Getaway, you will need to do the following:
- 150 Multikills with SMGs
- 125 medals won
- 100% points earned
In the case of multi-skills, you have to kill two enemies in quick succession in a Gambit match, and you have to use an SMG to do so. I would suggest something like the Mida Mini Tool, or even the Huckleberry if you have one. However, any SMG will do, so just use one that you think works well.
For the 125 medals earned, this is any medal obtained by playing Gambit modes. These should normally stack up for you as you play, especially if your focus is on taking out enemies and sending out blockers.
This allows you to earn points by taking out enemies and sending blockers to the other side. Keep in mind that these quests are not designed to be completed quickly. While they don't have the most extreme difficulty of the Pinnacle challenges from the previous season, they will still take you a little while.
