Garden of Salvation, the new Raid, just launched in Destiny 2. In this guide, we'll show you how to start the raid. Make sure you have as much power as possible, then prepare for a challenge!
Destiny 2 - How to start the Garden of Salvation raid
Raids in Destiny 2 are six-player missions that do not make any matches. As such, the first step is to find five other people to play with. Once you've all gathered in orbit, your Fireteam team leaders should click on the Moon in their Director's Destinations tab. From there, if you scroll up, you'll be able to see a new symbol on the map, pictured above. Click on it to start the raid.
From there you will charge into a spooky cave and moving forward will lead you to a huge Vex gate. Enemies will invade the gate, so take them all out so you can move forward.
Once all enemies are dead, the Vex Gate activates and your team can go through. Go up the steps and continue until you find a strange Vex creature that seems to be feasting on a Minotaur. This is the first time the game has played out appropriately, so feel free to choose what you do next!
Remember that the raid will be in contest mode for the first 24 hours, which means that no matter what your power level is, it will always stay in the recommended light for the encounter you are in. If you think you get hit a little too hard by enemies, this is how the raid is going to work on day one.
