The Vex Offensive has arrived, and after visiting Ikora in the Tower, you will be looking for the Lords of Vex Gate. If you're wondering where to find them, we've got you covered.
Destiny 2 - Where to find a Vex Gate Lord
The Lords of the Vex Gate are huge enemies, towering over their Vex companions and your humble Guardian. They can be found on the Moon, if you're lucky. If you look at the Moon map in Director, you'll see three icons representing a Vex head, with a slight pulse around them. These are Vex invasion areas, areas where the Vex attempt to invade the Moon.
If you head to these places and are lucky, a Vex invasion will be underway. They are a bit like public events, in that there are periods of downtime and periods of activity. Just make moon circuits covering Archer's Line, Hellmouth, and Anchor of Light, and you'll spot them when they show up, as the sky will be filled with electricity.
After going through a few enemies, you will notice the Vex Gate Lord coming in and you can just pull it apart. It has quite the health bar, but don't burn it without removing a standard Vex, you will need it for this step of the quest as well.
Make sure to pick up all the little green crystals that are falling as well, as these are important items! Keep in mind that these events can appear to overlap, so don't just kill one Vex Gate Lord, you need three in total, and I managed to make two that overlap. in the video above!
