You'll find your first cheat code at level 1, along with some easy-to-miss toys and Codex pages. This is where you'll learn the basics of the Secret Hunt, but it won't be until later that you have to settle for some really tough collectible slots. Right now you will only have a single double jump and a shotgun. The next level is when the going gets tough.

How collectibles work in DOOM Eternal:
There are many types of collectibles in: Auto Cards, Runes, Praetorian Points, Weapon Mods, Albums, Cheat Codes, Toys, Sentinel Crystals, and Sentinel Batteries. Every level has an Automap, but not all levels will have Albums, Toys, Cheat Codes, or Slayer Keys.
Basically there are a ton of different collectibles, and below I'll list where to find them all - in the Fallen from start of level to end. Levels in are much more linear, so as long as you follow along, it's easy to get all of the collectibles.
M1: Hell On Earth – Emplacements de collection:
Toy - Zombie (Earth): In the first room with the chainsaw, go to the back left and drill through the wall to find a secret path to the collection.
Poor Mod: To the left of the door, on the second floor of the barge after hitting the giant crate.
Manuscript: Just in the hallway, past the first arena.
Manuscript: After landing in the Dead City, look to the left of the destroyed building leading to the second weapon module.
Poor Mod: Inside the first building interior after landing in the Dead City area.
Toy - Doom Slayer: After breaking through the cracked shiny green wall, look up and jump left.
Automap: After the second arena which features the arachnotron, you will find the heavy cannon. In the next room, the Automap is on the right.
Manuscript: In the "Scott" Mall area, go upstairs and jump through the gap to find this codex page.
Toy - Imp: To the left of the "Scott" store, use the dump truck to jump to the second floor above the "ShuZ" sign. There is a cracked wall that leads to secrecy.
Poor Mod: On the ruined metro platform, to the left of the train, you will have to enter. Just before the Frag Grenade.
Manuscript: After climbing three walls to enter a rough subway tunnel, there is a codex page outside the door to the right.
Cheat Code – Infinite Extra Lives: In the metro maintenance tunnels, look right when you reach a T-junction with a tentacle on your left. There is a crate. Jump and crush through the vent.
Manuscript: They are found in the citadel, on the right when entering the large room.
Manuscript: The last collector's item is on the left, in the same room. Just grab them both before getting into the central elevator.
