Microsoft's annual X019 show is over and the business is particularly busy. A number of announcements were made, including all new titles from known studios, as well as updates to favorites like Halo Reach.
Here's a recap of everything that came out of the event so you can catch up on anything you may have missed. Dig in and see what everything Microsoft has to offer.
- Everwild. Rare introduced a brand new IP address today, based on characters who interact with unique creatures in a magical world.
- Grounded. The developers of The Outer Worlds are working hard on a new survival game featuring heroes shrunken to unnatural sizes.
- Kartrider Operation. Nexon has announced the arrival of a new karting game on Xbox One, which is expected to release “the first” on Xbox in 2020. Check out the official trailer here.
- Tell me why. Dontnod, the creators of the Life is Strange series, has revealed his new episodic adventure, coming to Xbox One next summer.
- Final Fantasy games are coming to Xbox Game Pass. Almost the entire saga of Final Fantasy games will go to Microsoft's on-demand service next year. More details here.
- Kingdom Hearts classics are coming to Xbox One. After the release of Kingdom Hearts III, Square Enix has confirmed that the previous Kingdom Hearts games are due for Xbox One next year. Find out more here.
- Yakuza games are coming to Xbox One. The Sega gangster saga is finally making its way to the Microsoft console, with three games coming in 2020. Find out more at this link.
- Halo Reach will join the Master Chief Collection next month. The rumors are true. Halo Reach will debut on Xbox One and PC on December 3.
- Fallow land 3. The third chapter in the long-awaited post-apocalyptic survival series is due for official release on May 19. See it in action here.
- A new update to Sea of Thieves. Following the debut of a Weapons of War themed ship, Sea of Thieves a major update will come on November 20, with firebombs and a new Tall Tale quest.
- West of Dead is in open beta. Raw Fury has just launched a new paired Western Adventure, available now in open beta. (Bonus: Ron Perlman voices the main character.)
- Bleeding Edge release date. The latest version of Ninja Theory isn't far away, and soon you'll be able to fight with friends Bleeding Edge. We have all the details here.
- Drake Hollow will debut next year. The creators of The Flame in the Flood are back with a bold new indie project, coming to the Xbox One front in 2020. Check out its first trailer.
- Last Stop is hosting a tour on Xbox One. The developers of indie favorite Virginie are back with a new adventure, about to be released on the Microsoft platform. The first trailer can be found here.
- Planet Coaster is ready for its console debut. After being so successful on PC, the amusement park sim is finally ready to roll on the Xbox One. See it in action with this first trailer.
- Microsoft Flight Simulator still looks fun. Check out the latest gameplay in this flight simulation here.
- Age of Empires IV debuts in video games. After waiting for what seemed like forever, fans finally got a gameplay trailer for Age of Empires IV. Worth the wait? We would say so.
- Minecraft Dungeons release date. We know when you can join the hack and slash adventure. And thanks to this story, you can too.
- Star Wars Jedi: The New Fallen Order Trailers. On the eve of the game's launch, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order got a pair of new trailers, including this fun live-action footage.
- The artistic escape. Annapurna Interactive's latest title seeks to combine rock and roll with a fantasy-themed platform. Get a good look here.
- Xbox Game Pass additions. The Xbox Game Pass program is shaping up to be a ton of great games over the next few weeks. These included The Witcher III: Wild Hunt, Streets of Rage 4, Rage 2, the Final Fantasy games and countless others. Check out some of the independent favorites coming here.
- Xbox Game Cloud News. Finally, several extracts from the Xbox Game Cloud service have been announced. The beta now offers more than 50 games including: The Devil May Cry 5, Tekken 7 and Madden NFL 20. In addition, it will soon be compatible with Windows 10 PC, as well as various new peripherals, including Sony's own DualShock 4. more information as he will live here.
