Gauntlet Showdown expliqué
Gauntlet Showdown is a new playlist in Fall Guys that only includes Race and Gauntlet games. This means that you will only have parts like Door Dash, Dizzy Heights, and Whirligig, and you never have to play mini-games like Egg Scramble or Tail Tag. This mode is for Fall Guys fans who aren't quite so big in team minigames and just want to stumble over an obstacle course.
It's also a great way to experience some of the new medieval-themed games in Season 2, such as Wall Guys and Knight Fever. This game mode has fewer turns by default, as it eliminates a large number of them, so you'll have a higher chance of hitting a new map. Knight Fever is the toughest gauntlet in the game yet, and Wall Guys is already full of tons of physics-based shenanigans. You'll miss Egg Siege and Hoopsie Legends, but they're objective-based team games and you probably won't want to play them anyway if you queue up for this playlist.

How to play Gauntlet Showdown
To play Gauntlet Showdown, go to the Fall Guys main menu and press the square button to access the show selector. On PC, you can press the Ctrl key. There you will be able to choose between the standard Fall Guys playlist and Gauntlet Showdown. After choosing which mode you want to play, enter a match as usual.
