Fallout Shelter: Trophy Guide, How to Get All of Them

Fallout Shelter PlayStation 4 Achievements / Trophies Guide - This comprehensive trophy guide will help Fallout Shelter you complete 100% of the console version of the Bethesda game initially released on mobile 3 years ago. The game can be downloaded for free from PlayStation Store. Unlike classic Fallout, Shelter is a base-building game, and your goal will be to expand your Vault, make it more populous and unlock better equipment to take with you on quests. All goals will be progressive, so there are no trophies you might risk jumping for, although some are extremely long and cumbersome to get, as well as luck based.

However, there is a trick that will allow you to speed up the process of obtaining some of them: you just need to manually change the clock of your console in the settings. Without this trick, obtaining the platinum trophy would be a difficult and extremely long task. So let's see in detail how it works.

Fallout Shelter how to pass the time faster

The way to make time flow quickly and make some otherwise nerve-wracking trophies to get is to go into the settings on your PlayStation 4 and from there, via the Date and Time option, manually change the time, setting it in the future. Be careful as setting the clock in the past will crash the game.

This trick will work whether you are online or offline, and the progress within the game will be updated immediately as soon as you confirm the time change and you don't even need to return to the main menu. While you're watching your Vault, simply press the PS button and change the settings in the menu to immediately complete all tasks in progress. You can, for example, max out all the statistics of your inhabitants in the training rooms as quickly as possible and then send them on quests and explore the Wasteland. Instead of waiting for them to reach the mission destination, you can use the same trick to make sure they reach it immediately. Since the trophy obtaining system is synchronized with the online clock, even if you put the clock years in the future the timestamp of your trophies will be correct, so don't worry and use this trick to have fun with !

When you play online, you'll also get a cap bonus for every skipped day and a lunch box after seven days, which may also contain legendary items. We recommend that you take advantage of this exploit by playing online, remembering to backup your save file from time to time in case it gets corrupted.

Stylist

You have created 10 clothes

Gunsmith

You have created 10 weapons

Do it yourself

Create a dress, a weapon and a theme

To get this trophy, you'll have to complete these objectives without leaving the game: create a dress, a weapon and a theme. You'll be able to use your nuka cola to speed up the process. Crafting a theme normally takes 7 days and 9 hours. So you'll need to build a workshop for clothes, weapons and themes. The last one will require the strength of 42 inhabitants.

To crack a theme you will first need to find all 9 fragments of a theme. The fragments can be obtained from quests, or obtained randomly during them. In case you are missing pieces, they can be purchased with Nuka Cola.

To get this trophy you'll have to crap a theme, a weapon and a dress during the same game session.

Pharmacist

You got 100 stimpak and 100 RadAway on a mission

During missions you can loot every room you enter after killing all the enemies inside. The objects you can collect will be clearly distinguishable from the background. We recommend you to maximize your team's strength statistics as it will allow them to open chests that cannot be opened by weaker characters.

This is definitely one of the longest trophies to get but if you remember to loo each room you should get it at the same time as the Legend of the Zone trophy.

Interior designer

Create all the themes

There are 8 themes in all within Fallout Shelter and each theme consists of 9 pieces, for a total of 72.

Themes will be unlocked through quests and you'll see the theme pieces from the quest rewards preview. Some of them can also be found randomly during missions. Once you get all 9 pieces you can crack the theme in the theme lab.

Elbow oil

Ready for the future

25 children born

For babies to be born you have to put a male and female individual in an inhabited room and simply wait. After three hours a child will be born, which after another three hours will turn into an adult but this is not necessary to get the trophy.

Some inhabitants are not interested in each other so the best way will be to form a large room with three living spaces and then put three men and three women in the room. In this way they will mate with the person they are interested in.

Urban Ranger

Complete 30 missions

Wanderer of the Zone

Complete 10 missions

Talkative

Make 25 choices in mission dialogues

During some quests you'll meet other people at random, and this will start a dialogue with them. You should be able to get this trophy automatically while you try to get the Legend of the Zone trophy (complete 100 missions).

Under the mattress

Collect 1,000 Stoppers

To get this trophy you will have to collect 1000 caps throughout the entire game. You won't need to have 1000 caps at the same time but the important thing is how many you will have collected in the game.

Caps are the currency of the game and the best way to get them is by rushing a room and exploring the Wasteland.

Purity Project

Combine 3 rooms that produce water

Eat and run

Combine 3 rooms that produce food

Nuclear fission

Combine 3 rooms that produce energy

Not in my garden

Successfully stop 50 marauder attacks

In the course of the game in Fallout Shelter your Vault may be attacked by marauders and your residents will be tasked to drive them away and defeat them. Make sure that all the residents on the upper floors have a weapon and continuously treat them using stimpacks. You can only be attacked by pedestrians while you are playing, so don't worry about attacks while you are not actively in the game.

When your vault is larger the attacks of marauders will become rarer and rarer and you will be attacked by Ghouls and Deathclaws, making this achievement more difficult to achieve. The best strategy is therefore to have 25 or maximum 30 inhabitants in your vault, provide the inhabitants upstairs with more powerful weapons and stay in the game so that the attacks can follow each other. You may need to start a new vault to achieve this achievement.

Home, sweet home

Build 1 room of each type

There are 24 types of rooms in Fallout Shelter and to get this trophy you'll have to build one per type. To unlock all of them you'll have to increase the population of your vault to 100 individuals. The fastest way to do this is to have them reproduced. To do this, you'll have to put one male and one female individual in an inhabited room and simply wait. After three hours a child will be born, and after another three hours it will turn into an adult. In the course of the game, you will also be given the opportunity to build a radio studio to be able to call other survivors and to build the office of the Superintendent to begin rescue missions, to get inhabitants with higher statistics.

It should be enough to get this trophy to have your inhabitants reproduce it quickly.

Vault-Tec architect

Build 25 rooms

To expand your Vault you will need to build more rooms. Building rooms is the founding mechanics of Fallout Shelter and will be explained in a tutorial at the beginning of the game, once you create your Vault. To build rooms you will need caps, the main currency of the game. The rooms needed to get this trophy do not have to be specific rooms, and you can build the same room several times. This achievement shouldn't be difficult to achieve and you'll find yourself without realizing it, enlarging your vault more and more. The advice we can give you is not to always build the cheapest rooms to get this achievement as quickly as possible but to build a room for each type, and then add energy rooms, canteens and water purifiers. The important thing will always be to keep your vault balanced.

Just a trim

The Vault safe

Collect 10,000 Stoppers

To get this trophy you will need to get 10 thousand caps during the course of the game. You will not need to have 10 thousand caps at the same time.

Caps are the currency of the game and the best way to get them is by rush a room and explore the Wasteland.

Superintendent

Take an inhabitant from level 1 to 50

To bring an inhabitant from level 1 to level 50 you will need 2,295,000 experience points. This will be extremely simple thanks to the clock trick explained above.

At the beginning of the game all your inhabitants will be level 1. You will also be able to give birth to your inhabitants within the inhabited areas and the children will also start from level 1.

The fastest way to level your inhabitants will be to send them to explore the Wasteland for several days at once. First, max out your inhabitants' stats by putting them inside the training room, and then use the clock trick to get them to complete their training in the shortest possible time. Once this is done, equip the inhabitants with weapons and equipment with statistics +RESISTANCE, give them 25 Stimpacks and send them to explore the Wasteland. When the Resistance statistics are at level 11, the inhabitant will become immune to radiation poisoning, and you can save RadAway.

Once sent to explore, set the clock ahead 3-4 days. When the inhabitant dies, resurrect him and return him to the Vault. The longer your inhabitants remain outside the Vault in exploration, the more experience points they will gain and will also have a chance to return to the Vault with better equipment and loot.

People inside the production rooms will also receive experience points, but at a much lower rate than the Wasteland explorers. Again, use the system clock trick to get them to level up faster.

Vault-Tec Engineer

Build 50 rooms

For this achievement the same advice applies as for the Bronze Trophy Architect of Vault Tec. Remember to always keep your Vault balanced.

Survivor

Complete 60 missions

Fixed with objectives

Complete 100 goals

To view the targets press circle and click on the third icon from the top (the jib symbol). There will be 3 active targets at the same time. You can press triangle on the targets you don't like and change them with other available ones. The objectives will be very simple, such as "Equip an inhabitant with a weapon", or things that you will do normally during the course of the game. In addition, you will be able to repeat the same objective several times to get this trophy.

Enemy of the Zone

Kill 500 enemies on a mission

Decorator

A better future... underground

Upgrade 20 rooms to level 3

Hover your cursor over a room and press right to upgrade it. Building many inexpensive rooms like energy rooms, canteens and water purifiers is the best way to get this trophy. Upgrades will cost caps that you can quickly get by sprinting through the rooms and exploring the Wasteland. Level 3 is the highest level a room can reach.

Happy worker

Successfully completes 50 Sprint

You'll only be able to sprint to resource-generating rooms, such as the energy room, the mansions or water purifiers. To do this, simply click on the room and press on.

For this trophy only successful Sprints will count towards the goal, so keep this in mind in case you have to fail a few. Sprinting a room will automatically generate resources without having to wait, but there will be a higher risk of a fire or cockroaches or other monsters attacking your inhabitants. The best strategy is to sprint a room with a 30% or less chance of accidents. You can also take advantage of the clock trick here: you can push the date of your console forward by one hour, thus reducing the chance of failure to below 30% and avoiding fires or monsters.

You'll also increase the chance of success by having an inhabitant with a very high fortune statistic. Also, remember to always have as many inhabitants as possible inside the room, since the value of luck is cumulative.

Since sprinting is one of the main resources for money and experience, you'll find yourself doing it all the time during your game and this is likely to be one of the first trophies you get.

You are fired!

Kill 10 mission bosses

Some of the toughest missions will have bosses at the end of them. You can start quests from the Superintendent's office once they're built. This trophy should be obtained without any problems while you try to get the Legend of the Zone trophy.

Dismantler

Dismantle 500 objects

This will be one of the longest and most annoying trophies to get. You will have to dismantle 500 weapons or clothes and get scraps from them.

The best way to get weapons will be to send more inhabitants from the completely maxate statistics in exploration in the Wasteland. Give them a few stimpacks and use the system clock trick until they're all dead, then call them back into the vault and send them back again to make sure they return immediately. They'll have some weapons and clothes with them.

Once you get weapons and clothes, press triangle over them to dismantle them. You'll also get weapons and costumes during missions and as a reward for them, as well as protecting yourself from marauders' attacks. Remember to dismantle weapons and costumes instead of selling them.

Legend of the Zone

Complete 100 missions

To begin to undertake missions you must first build the office of the Superintendent, costing 1000 caps. From here you can start missions, and by upgrading the office you will be given the possibility to start more missions at the same time.

Usually it takes a few hours for your inhabitants to arrive at their destination but you can speed up this process thanks to the trick of changing the date and time of the system that we taught you at the beginning of this guide.

You can send three of your people on a mission. Once they reach the target, they will have to enter a house and you can control them and fight the enemies. Make sure that your strongest inhabitant is in the party and that they are equipped with stimpacks and your best equipment. You can max out their stats in the training rooms and using the date change trick will be almost unbeatable.

Since the office upgrade will allow you to start multiple missions at once, make sure you do it as soon as possible.

Haute couture

20 Legendary Collected Clothes

This trophy along with the Armed and dangerous trophy are among the longest to get of the entire game. Legendary clothes are the rarest clothes to get, and luckily you don't need to get 20 unique legendary clothes but they will be worth the duplicates as well.

The best ways to get legendary clothes are:

  • From the lunch boxes that can be obtained through Quest, Quest of the superintendent's office, and also obtainable every 7 days of game skipped. You won't be able to skip 7 days at once but you'll have to skip one at a time and be connected.
  • Craft them from a top-level clothing workshop
  • Exploring the Wasteland and the Wasteland events: the "National Guard Depot" after 60 hours of exploration will have a high drop rate of rare and legendary clothes. Send a resident with maxate stats and 25 stimpacks to the Wasteland and hope he returns with a legendary outfit.

The easiest way to get the legendary weapons is to skip 7 days and get a lunch box. You will need to be online to get your reward. At the same time send your top level residents to Wasteland to find legendary parts that can be made into legendary clothes.
