How to get Deluxe Edition items

The Final Fantasy VII Remake Deluxe Edition, whether physical or digital, and the 1st Class Edition offer players an exclusivity for now at least invoked in the game. Additionally, the Digital Deluxe Edition and the Edition first class also have an added exclusivity that the physical luxury edition does not get. These two summons are the classics Cactuar and Carbuncle respectively, which have each appeared in many games over the years.

Purchasing one of these versions will not only give you immediate access to these Summons, as you need to take a few more steps to get them into the game.

For those who have purchased the Digital Deluxe Edition, you should usually be able to download additional content from the accompanying PlayStation Store from the menu. This is also the case when redeeming codes from the physical version of the game. However, if you missed this step or used it on the mobile app, you can still install them quite easily.

Make sure you're on the PlayStation 4 home screen and scroll down to the Final Fantasy VII Remake icon. Scroll down to the option that says PlayStation, then go right where it says "Your add-ons." It's like the pre-order bonuses, so go here and manually install the ones you don't have.

That's not all you need to do, as now you need to go into the game and trade them as well. Once you have done the above steps, go to the game and go to the pause menu. Scroll down to System, then select DLC. From there, choose the DLC that you haven't activated to use in the game and do it at that point. At this point, the Summoning Materia you have with your respective version should be added to your Summoning Materia pool in the game.
