Final Fantasy XIV - How to earn Kupo of Fortune cards, how Kupo of Fortune works

Kupo of Fortune Cards are obtained by flipping five Ishgardian Crafted Collectibles.

As with the first phase of Ishgardian Restoration, there is a fixed list of items that artisans must create if they wish to contribute and earn rewards. When you talk to Potkin to review what you need to craft, you'll see a little stamp icon next to some items. Handing over these items will reward you with a Kupo stamp, and after five stamps you will earn a Kupo of Fortune scratch card. It's a stamp for an item, so they're not difficult to grow.

Once you have a Kupo Voucher, talk to Lizbeth, who is standing next to Potkin, to exchange it for a Kupo of Fortune card. From there, the UI will be updated to show you the map and possible rewards. There are four boxes for five total rewards. They are divided between a group of three on the right and a single square on the left. The single square will always give you a level two to four prize, but if you want to go for gold and collect the level one prize, you have to select one of the three on the right. The kick-off is that there is a fifth consolation prize (which is usually crap) that can also appear on the right, so you have a higher chance of getting a jack-squat if you take a chance.

Just choose a square and the UI will tell you the probability of each reward at that location. Click on the square to confirm your choice and collect your prize. I had some luck on my first one, as the screenshot above shows. That's all for earning Kupo of Fortune cards in Final Fantasy XIV. Return the Ishgardian Restoration Items marked, collect your card, and see if you're a lucky winner or a hapless fool.
