How to get new characters in Genshin Impact
New Genshin Impact characters are acquired through Wishes. Wishes allow you to exchange a special currency in exchange for a random reward, which can include a new character. Some wishes are still available, while others are only available for a limited time.
You can access the wish menu by opening the menu and selecting the Wish icon on the bottom row. You need to unlock them first as you progress through the main storyline. Wishes require a premium currency called Destinations, which you can acquire in the in-game store by redeeming Primogems.
