Genshin Impact Hypostatic Symphony Event Guide

Genshin Impact Hypostatic Symphony Event Guide

Hypostatic Symphony runs until January 31, and you must be at Rank 20 of the Genshin Impact adventure to participate.

The Hypostatic Symphony is pretty straightforward on paper: each day a specific Pure Hypostasis boss will become available as one of the seven challenges, and you must complete it to earn credit. Each of the seven challenges has a 60 Primogem reward attached, and you only need to complete the fight to earn the goods. There is an event store with more rewards, but these trinkets are locked behind your event's total score.

When you open your event page, you'll see the Hypostatic Symphony event and a tab that will take you to its location on the map. The event takes place in the northern Liyue region and you can teleport there directly from the map icon. However, you can't actually participate in the event if you're not at least Adventure Rank 20, and I recommend having a team of characters that are level 20 or higher (and suitably equipped for their level).

Selecting a challenge will highlight the specific Pure Hypostasis assigned to it (unless the challenge is unavailable, you will be told how long until it unlocks). On this screen, you'll notice several things: the first is your total score next to the event store at the top of the screen. This is represented by a diamond, and your cumulative score for all challenges will determine the rewards you can use in the Hypostatic Symphony event store. The higher your total score, the more rewards there are, which cap at 20 points for the last available reward.

Second, you'll see four characters down who have a boost available for this explicit Pure Hypostasis fight. These are a mix of the different characters available in Genshin Impact, to include both harder to earn 5 stars and more easily to reach 4 stars, so if you're a free-to-play traveler you won't need too much. stress on your list. The exact bonus will be listed above the character portraits.

Variation and difficulty are the keys to a high score.

When you choose to take the challenge, you click on "Difficulty level" at the bottom of the screen. A list of variations will appear. Each is worth a certain number of points and is largely tailored to the pure hypostasis you are about to fight. Unlike Genshin Impact's other Hypostasis bosses, these have a handful of new mechanics (detailed in their description on the main page), and each Variation alters the fight in some way to make it more difficult. The more you activate, the more points you earn at the end, and at least one must be activated to enter the fight.

Genshin Impact is an end-of-day RPG, which means your characters can easily go from level 1 to level 90. This is where the top difficulty option comes in. There are four difficulties available. in Genshin Impact's Hypostatic Symphony event, and each acts as a multiplier for your score. You cannot increase your score by fighting the boss multiple times - only your highest score will count towards the event total, so these difficulty settings allow you to increase it via their multipliers. They are:

  • Easy: level 20 and 1x multiplier
  • Normal: level 40 and 1,5x multiplier
  • Hard: level 60 and 2,5x multiplier
  • Expert: level 80 and 4,5 multiplier

To earn all the rewards in the Hypostatic Symphony Event Store, you will need to complete all seven challenges with a score of at least 2850, which means you will have to face all fights on Expert difficulty with multiple modifiers. Travelers who have spent the last few months building a team or two of level 80 characters and outfitted them with some of Genshin Impact's best artifacts and weapons shouldn't have too much of a problem with this, but if your list is largely in below level 80 and you haven't committed to any version you need to tackle the Hypostatic Symphony in co-op with friends or strangers to earn all the available rewards.

As I mentioned before, just completing a challenge will give 60 Primogems, so if that's all you want, go ahead and set the fight to Easy and choose the 300s Timer Variation. If you want it all and don't have a roster of powerful and well-equipped characters, you'll have to join up with friends or hazards to overcome each challenge. There for the Hypostatic Symphony event at Genshin Impact, so you will have to join other travelers in their world, or invite them to yours. Once you have gathered a party, the host can queue up for the fight via the entrance to the Hypostatic Symphony. Just be sure to communicate the variations and difficulties used so that everyone can prepare accordingly.
