Hearthfire - Guide and Complete Solution !

While PS3 owners are still desperate for the missed release of Dawnguard, the first DLC of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim we, here in the editorial office, have already put our hand to the new DLC - Hearthfire - to provide you, as usual, in a very short time the complete solution guide!

Hearthfire - Guide and Complete Solution !

First of all, as soon as you have downloaded the additional pack and started the game you will suddenly see a messenger who will deliver a letter. CONSIDER ADOPTION, you will find it in your menu among the books. Open the letter and...

WE NEED YOU

In these times of war and pain, Skyrim's orphans are the real victims.
Many of them have lost loved ones and a life of hard work, poverty and misery awaits them.
If you have a chance to provide a stable home for one of these innocent children, consider adoption.
Whether you choose to adopt one of our babies or someone closer to you, remember that you will always save a child's life.

After reading the letter you will activate the mission marker that will take you to the orphanage in Honorhall, Riften. Go into the orphanage and talk to the headmistress and ask her if you can adopt one of the children. After you undergo a luuuuunghissimo interrogation she will find that:

  • - you own a house but you don't have a room for the baby.
  • - you don't have a home
  • - If you have a house but do not have a room for the child, simply go to the Jarl residence in the city where you have a house and ask the boy in charge of "real estate affairs" to replace the alchemical laboratory with the room for the child. Once you have done this, go back to Riften to the director of the orphanage and choose which of the children to take for adoption.
Hearthfire What's that got to do with anything!?!? First of all, you have adopted a child and you have changed the furniture of your house, which was impossible before, but to get into the heart of the DLC you will have to go to the Jarl's residence in one of the cities where you have not yet bought a house, talk to the boy who is in charge of the "real estate business" and ask him if he wants to buy a house. At this point he will tell you that there are no houses available but that he can sell you a piece of land to build on...accept the proposal and start your adventure in Hearthfire .

    - If, on the other hand, you don't have a house, you will have to go to the Jarl's residence in one of the cities you prefer, talk to the guy who is in charge of the "real estate business" and ask him if he wants to buy a house. At this point he will tell you that there are no houses available but that he can sell you a piece of land to build on...accept the proposal and start your adventure in Hearthfire .

Hearthfire - Guide and Complete Solution !

I personally decided to go to Dawnstar's Jarl, his "henchman" offered me a plot of land south of the city near the Rest of Time. Once his proposal is accepted, the mission marker will activate and lead you to your land, there you will find a DRAWING TABLE, a CARPENTRY BANK, a BAULE and an INCUDINE.

Use the drawing board to start building the house and from there you will activate the "Buy Wood" mission. Looking around, however, you will discover that you already have wood, so go back to the drawing board and use the SMALL HOUSE SCHEME, from there you will activate the mission "USA BANCO CARPENER TO BUILD YOUR HOUSE'S FOUNDAMEN". On the carpenter's bench you will find the GUIDE TO THE BEGINNER LATHIFONDIST, browse through it to discover all the secrets of the builder...

"To build your house you will need various building materials but you don't need to have everything right away. The most common materials you will need are logs cut from stone and clay. Fortunately, most places where you decide to build have accessible sources of stone and clay. When it comes to wood, the owner of a sawmill will be happy to sell and deliver all the logs you want. You'll need a lot of nails, luckily even an inexperienced blacksmith can turn the raw iron into as many nails as you want. To furnish your house you will need various materials such as straw and glass that can be purchased from most stores. For the rest, your trusted shop is the entire Skyrim."
