How to perform a Shoji assassination in Ghost of Tsushima

Make a Assassination of Shoji in Ghost of Tsushima, you must first find an enemy who is standing in front of a sliding door. Once you have identified your target, sneak to the other side of the door and press the square button to murder them. It's a powerful but situational move, and incorporating it into your strategies can make or break a stealth infiltration of a Mongolian outpost. Some Mongolian outposts et captured farms avoir optional bonus objectives, and sometimes they will ask you to perform a Shoji assassination. You won't be able to use this move until you've reached a certain point in the story, so check back later if you meet this bonus objective without first getting the move.

Jin will learn of Shoji's assassination in Ghost of Tsushima during the finale of Act I. While you attack Kaneda Castle in a rescue attempt Lord Shimura, you will eventually make your way inside the fortress. After you take down a few Mongols inside, you'll come to a scripted sequence where Jin meets a lone Mongol standing behind a sliding door - the perfect target for a silent killing spree. After you assassinate this enemy and progress through the mission, you will unlock the ability.

There are sliding doors all over Ghost of Tsushima, but not all enemies will mindlessly stand in front of them once you find one. To lure enemies into position for a Shoji assassination, use the throwaway Wind chimes which you can unlock as Phantom weapon to attract Mongols to the desired area. You can also use firecrackers, another of Ghost of Tsushima's throwables, though they do attract the attention of multiple enemies at once.
