You will discover the material you wear on your Ghost Recon Breakpoint character will determine how you handle particular encounters. Do you have mines covering you? You might want to ambush your enemies, blowing up a good chunk of them. Are you about to fight a particularly tough enemy? Fire a quick shot in the middle of the fight. You can't take everything in a battle, but your items will change as you play.

You can spend time changing your inventory whenever you have a spare moment. You don't have to wait until you're hanging out in a bivouac. All you have to do is open your menu and look for the "Upload" tab. You should be able to locate it by finding the backpack icon at the top of your list.

Click on it and you will see your gear with all your weapons and gear. At the bottom of your screen, you'll see a backpack with six slots already filled. These slots are going to be all of the items you can freely shoot in the middle of a fight and on the fly without having to pause your game. You don't want to click on the backpack to open it. You want to stay on the loading screen. Click on any of the six items, and you'll see a smaller menu with the list of available items that you can replace with a pop-up window. Choose the one you want to trade, and you will be able to extract that item from your radial menu during combat.
