But the pro sports update changes that, allowing your BitLife character to live out the stars' dream of hitting a home run out of a stadium or scoring the winning goal before the timer reaches zero.
To become a professional athlete, you want to focus on improving your character's appearance and health as early as possible before they reach college. You want them to focus on going to the gym, going for walks, and taking care of their bodies while in high school. When they turn 18, you can choose to change their diet to achieve this, but making sure they go to the gym and walk around often is a great way to keep their health high.
Before entering high school, you can start working on your character's prowess in a particular sport by trying to try your hand at the college sports team as an extraocular activity. It's also a good way to gauge your character's athleticism before heading off to high school. If they are part of the college team, they have a great chance to take these skills with them to high school.
When you are in high school, you want to apply for a project to work for a professional team. You can do this immediately after high school, and generally work in sports as early as possible in high school. Once you have graduated, you have the option to apply for the open project, and depending on your skills, a team will choose you at random.
From there it's all about training, monitoring your skills at whatever position you choose in your sport, potentially being traded to other teams, and working professionally. It takes a lot of dedication, but once you get there, you stay there.
