If you were waiting for juicy news from the social network of photos you have been satisfied. In this period it seems that the development team is working non-stop. The latest fruit of their work is the Type mode, which allows you to change writing on Instagram.
To find this new function, just go to the section for inserting the stories and scroll left to the item Kind.
From this new window, you can then change the type of text according to your tastes. There are currently three on Android: modern, typewriter and bold. A quarter seems to be called neon and is already in rollout on the iPhone, but no further information is currently available.
- You can insert your text stories by changing the background color. This is made possible by the round button to the left of the arrow. There are several preset ones, above which you can write your text and then publish it.
- Another little gem is the possibility of setting one transparent photo. In this way you can still choose the color you prefer and insert the text overlay.
Change Instagram writing in stories
In addition to the Type mode, which we have just shown you, it has recently been possible to change the type of text in classic Instagram stories. In addition to the classic font, which you have always used, you will be able to take advantage of the new styles modern, typewriter and bold.
- Doing so is really simple. Just take a photo or upload an image, and then press the top right letter symbol Aa.
- Once you have entered the text, you can change the font with the appropriate button you find on the upper edge screen.
What to do if you can't change Instagram writing yet
Sometimes it may understand that despite having the latest version of the application on Instagram, you cannot change the font of the writing. Because? Instagram divides its updates into two types.
- App-side updates: they are released with the application update. This means that all users can take advantage of it if they are using a certain version xx.xx.xxx.
