How to create and find public teams in Fallout 76

Public teams are a hallmark of Fallout 76, where you can contact other players on your current server to do activities with them. Each group member will receive additional benefits for doing so. You want to visit your menu's social page to see who is actively looking for available team members to join or to create a team to run yourself to complete a specific activity.

You can access your social page by going to your Fallout 76 game's map and clicking on the social button, which you can see at the top right of this screen. Click on it, then navigate to the symbol with the two circles intertwined. You will have the option to create your own public team or see if there are any public teams available that you can join. A public team can consist of up to four members.

When creating a team, you can choose to set the team's primary objective to Hunting, Role-playing, Events, Exploration, Building, or Casual. Each of these categories comes with a specific buff available to everyone in the group.

    • Hunting - Bonus: + 25% XP for legendary attacks (100% for a fully linked team)
    • Roleplay - Bonus: +1 Charisma (+4 for a fully linked team)
    • Events - Bonus: +25 percent XP for completing events (100 percent for a fully linked team)
    • Exploration - Bonus: +1 Endurance (+4 for a fully linked team)
    • Building - Bonus: +1 Intelligence (+4 for a fully linked team)
    • casual - Bonus: +1 chance (+4 for a fully linked team)

The more connections you have with your team members, the more benefits each receives from doing activities together in Fallout 76. You can change the objective by going back to the social menu, where you first created the team to change your goals. You can also use this menu to kick players from your public squad or send direct invites to friends playing the game.
