A fresh start for the weekend means a new challenge has arrived at BitLife. The weekend challenge is called Shawshank, after the famous book by Stephen King. This differs from the previous challenge of the week where you had to play the game for three hours straight, so players may have a few more complications trying to complete this one.
Here are the requirements for the challenge:
- Being convicted of murder in the United States
- Spend 30 years in the American prison
- Get beaten more than 5 times by prison gangs
- Escape after 30 years
- Emigrate to Mexico
You want your character to start in the United States. The majority of what happened in this challenge is in one of the 50 states, so make sure you do it to keep things simple. After that, when you have the opportunity to participate in a crime, try to kill your family member or friends. More than likely, you will be caught soon after the attempt.
In prison, it is above all a game of waiting. You can stay healthy and busy by staying there, and whenever you have the chance to fight a prison character, do so. This will likely cause a fight between you and any gang member inside the prison. The more you fight them, although dangerous, the more you can complete the third task, be beaten by them. However, you don't want to do this too often to run the risk of your character potentially dying from a fatal injury in prison.
After being there for 30 years, you must try to escape the prison by completing the puzzle to escape. Unfortunately the puzzles are quite difficult, but we've got a breakdown of what you need. Once you escape, it's all about trying to emigrate to Mexico. It might take a little time and a little money, which you probably don't have once you get out of prison. It will probably be a good idea to participate in side work and then use the small amount of money you get to escape.
