As I told you at the beginning of the guide, this is a music streaming service based on the boundless YouTube database and made officially available by Google, which, in exchange for a subscription at a cost of 9,99 euros / month (or 14,99 , 6 euros / month for the family plan that can be used by XNUMX people) with the first month of free trial, it allows you to download the songs that are available on the service and listen to them in audio-only mode, even in the background. It should be noted that the service can be used both from the Web and via the app for smartphones and tablets, but the download of the songs is possible only in this second case.
That said, to download the YouTube Music app on Android, visit the relative section of the Play Store and press the button Install. Let's now turn to the solutions software thanks to which you can download music from YouTube on Windows e MacOS. Below, therefore, you will find those that in my humble opinion represent the best systems in the category. Put them to the test now!
4K YouTube to MP3 (Windows / macOS)
The first software I can recommend is 4K YouTube to MP3, which allows you to download videos from YouTube and convert them into MP3, M4A and OGG audio files while maintaining the highest possible quality (up to 320 kbps). It is completely free and is compatible with both Windows and macOS. The only limitations it provides concern the download of playlists (supports the download of a maximum number of 25 clips at a time) and the subscription function to channels. To eliminate these limitations, you need to purchase a license for the software (at a cost of 12,14 euros).
That said, let's move on to the practical side of the matter. To download 4K YouTube to MP3 on your computer, connect to the official website of the program and click on the button Scarica 4K YouTube to MP3.

It is free, but offers a subscription service (at a cost of $ 9,99 per year), called TurboBoost, which allows you to get songs from YouTube without having to download the entire video first (therefore faster).
To download the software on your PC, connect to its website and click on operating system logo running on your PC that you find on the left.
Subsequently, if you are using Windows, start the .exe file you just downloaded, click on the buttons Run e Yes in the window that opens, put the check mark next to the item I accept the terms of the license agreement and complete the setup by clicking on the button first NEXT four consecutive times and then on the buttons Install e end.

Lacey is a program as simple as it is effective that allows you to search and download music from YouTube (and many other online services) in a few clicks. It's totally free, has a beautiful user interface and is only available for Windows operating systems.
To download the software to your computer, visit its official website and click on the link Free Download Lacey.zip which is located at the top.
Once the download is complete, open thearchive ZIP obtained, extract the contents to a folder of your choice and start the fillet .exe. noTube is the first among the online services that fall into the category of those useful for downloading and converting videos from YouTube that I suggest you take into consideration. It's free and it's very easy to use too.
To use it, connected to its home page, paste the address of the YouTube video from which you want to extract the audio in the appropriate bar in the center, select an output format from the adjacent drop-down menu (eg. MP3) and click on the button OK.
Wait, therefore, for the video to be processed and click on the button Download, in order to save it on your computer. Easier than that?
Other online services to download music from YouTube
The Web services to download music from YouTube that I have already suggested have not convinced you in a particular way and are you looking for alternatives? Then try the other solutions part of the category that I have reported to you in the list below.
- GrabFrom - very easy to use web service through which you can download YouTube videos in the form of audio files, choosing from various output formats. Its use is free, but eventually it is available in a paid variant (costs $ 2,99 / month or $ 24,99 / year) that allows you to take advantage of some extra functions, such as the removal of advertising banners on the site.
- Clipconvert - another useful online service for downloading videos and audios from YouTube. It generates audio files in MP3, AAC or M4A format and allows you to adjust the output quality in detail. It's free.
- YT2MP3 - free online service which, as easily understood by the name itself, allows you to obtain MP3 files from YouTube videos in a very simple and fast way. It is used for free.
How to download YouTube music on Android
A smartphone or tablet is available Android, you can download music from YouTube using special applications designed for the purpose, as in the case of TubeMate. This is a free and easy to use application that, in fact, allows you to perform the operation in question in a handful of taps. Unfortunately it is not available on the Play Store, for which the relative must be downloaded APK file from the developer's site and you must then perform the "manual" installation, after activating support for unknown sources in the device settings.
To enable support for unknown sources on Android 8.0 or higher, go to the section Settings> Apps and notifications of the device, tap on the item related to browser from which you intend to download the APK package (ex. Chrome), touch the wording Install sconosciute app and move up ON the corresponding levetta alla voce Allow from this source.
If you use a older version of Android, fai tap sull'icona delle Settings (Quella with l 'gear) that you find in the drawer, touch the wording Safety or that one Screen lock and security present on the next screen and move to ON the lever that you find in correspondence with the item Unknown origin o Unknown sources. Then, go to the TubeMate website directly from your device, tap the button Android Freewareon that one Download that you see by scrolling the page and then press the button Install APK. If you are asked which app you want to download the application with, choose the browser currently in use and touches items OK o Download, in response to the warnings you see appear at the bottom of the screen
After the download is complete, expand the notification menu of Android and tap on name of the .apk file just obtained, in order to start the installation of TubeMate. On the screen that is shown to you, tap the items Install e apri, in order to complete the installation process and start the application.
Then, accept the terms of use of the app by touching the wording I agree, grant TubeMate i permits necessary to work and close the screen related to release notes. Then choose if you want to use the app by viewing advertisements targeted or not.
Now that you see the main screen of the application, press the button with the magnifying glass at the top right and type the title of the video on YouTue from which you intend to extract the audio, start playback and select the button with the down arrow which is shown to you in the lower right part of the display. Then select one of the audio formats available for output from the menu that appears and tap once again on the button with the down arrow which is on the right to proceed with the download.
Please note that in conjunction with the first download, you may be asked to download MP3 video converter. This is a free app required for TubeMate to function properly. If this happens, you agree to it.
To follow the progress of the download, however, call up the main menu of the app, swipe from right to left on the screen and touch the icon with the down arrow located at the top. Once the download is complete, the files will be accessible by tapping on the icon music note that you always find at the top of the application menu.
How to download YouTube music to iPhone and iPad
If you own a iPhone or a iPad, to download music from YouTube I recommend using the app instead commands. Then wait for the Commands application to open, wait for the script to run, select the option Save as MP3 or that one Save as M4a from the menu that is shown to you, type the name you want to assign to the audio file in the appropriate field and tap on the wording end.
Finally, click onshare icon (Quella with the rectangle and the arrow) located in the lower left part of the screen with the player that is proposed to you and indicates the position or app on your device in which to save the song obtained.
