It is free and allows you to download YouTube videos in various formats, as well as extract only the audio track, which is why I have chosen to tell you about it in this guide. The only thing to be aware of is that it does not have a graphical interface, so it must be used from the command line, which may seem difficult, but in reality it is not.
To download youtube-dl to your computer, you need Homebrew, a free and open source package manager that allows you to install various software using the terminal. So, first, open the latter by clicking on theLaunchpad icon (Quella with il space rocket) that you find on Dock barby selecting the folder Other and then clicking onTerminal icon (Quella with the nether finest in the riga di codice).
