How to get the Ace of Spades catalyst in Destiny 2

How to get the Ace of Spades catalyst in Destiny 2

The Ace of Spades is a powerful Destiny 2 hand cannon. This fantastic weapon was used by Cayde-6 and can be obtained through Cayde's Will Quest. While this is already a great weapon, you can also get a Catalyst to make it even more powerful. Catalysts are powerful additions to Exotic Destiny 2 weapons. Once found, they can be added to the pistol and then charged by completing a small quest. When fully activated, they grant a unique advantage to the weapon. You find catalysts by doing many different in-game activities, although not all Exotic weapons currently have catalysts.

You can catch the Ace of Spades Catalyst by getting kills during and completing Nightfalls or Strikes. It can be rewarded at the end of the activity.

When the catalyst fully charges, the weapon also becomes Masterworked and spawns orbs on multiple skills, and gains a tracker that will display the number of enemies defeated with it. To fully charge the Ace of Spades catalyst, you will need to get 500 kills with the weapon. These kills can come from any activity in the game, they don't need to be obtained in the same activity where you found the catalyst.

When finished, the catalyst will increase damage from firefly blasts while the weapon's Momento Mori perk is active. Memento Mori is activated by reloading after being killed and will increase the damage of the next hits fired by the weapon. It will also allow you to have an active radar while aiming sights.

The Ace of Spaces is a fantastic weapon as is, which is fantastic to use and will take down most of the standard enemies in the game. The Catalyst adds even more dynamism to the Firefly explosion than you get from attacks from precision, which makes it even better and turns it into a first-class weapon when it comes to dealing with crowds.
