The beloved Sniper Rifle was first introduced in Destiny 2 Season of Opulence, and quickly became a hit with players who enjoy sharp, precise, and punchy snipers. You can get the Beloved by running a race through the Menagerie, slaughtering the boss, and opening the chest at the end. You will need the correct runes in your chalice, however.
How to get the beloved sniper rifle
Each weapon in the menagerie has a different rune recipe. These runes are placed in your chalice, and when you open the chest at the end of the race, it secures that loot. For the beloved you will need the following Runes.
- Rune of jubilation in the top slot to ensure a sniper rifle drop.
- The second rune can be a red rune, therefore cunning, gluttony, or ambition. These runes ensure that the weapon is the beloved.
If you haven't unlocked the second slot of your Chalice, you'll need to do so with Imperials. Imperials are a unique currency that you can earn in-game and use to upgrade your Chalice of Opulence.
Once you've equipped both runes, charge up the menagerie and complete the round, kill the final boss and open the chest. The Beloved is now yours. While you can guarantee that you will get the weapon itself, you cannot guarantee that it will be a perfect or even good throw.
If you've unlocked the third Rune Slot in your Chalice, you can add another one to secure a special Masterwork Perk.
- Purple Rune - MW Management
- Green Rune - Range MW
- Red Rune - Reload MW
- Blue Rune - MW Stability
When it comes to divine benefits and roles, they vary from person to person, depending on their playstyle and what exactly they want from the weapon. You'll probably want something like Snapshot, Quickdraw, and No Distractions and then be it for the fourth benefit.
