iOS 14 has finally brought the "App Library", or a sort of app drawer capable of storing all the applications downloaded on your device. In this way it will be possible to simplify the main home which will limit itself to showing only the main and preferred applications by the user. In this article we are going to see how to use the aforementioned function.
Hide an app from the iPhone home
Before starting, we remind you that the application library is only available on the iPhone a starting with iOS 14. For this reason, before following the procedure, we invite you to check that the aforementioned software is installed on your device.
- Go to the iPhone home
- Press and hold on the app you want to hide for a while
- click "Remove app"
- Choose the option "Move to app library"
The app will then automatically be removed from the home and can be opened directly from the application library on the last page to the right of the home.
Hide a page from the iPhone home page
Apple has also seen fit to further speed up the home simplification process, offering the possibility of also hide entire pages. Let's see how to do it.
- Go to the iPhone home
- Press and hold on any app for a while
- click "Change the Home Screen"
- Click on the dots on the pages below
- Deselect the pages to hide and click "End" top right
Obviously it will be possible to bring the pages back by performing the same procedure again and selecting those to show.
Submit new apps directly to the library

- Continue with "Home screen"
