NHL 21 will launch in October, a few weeks later than expected thanks to production delays caused by the coronavirus. NHL players will find new features in this year's game like EASHL Practice, HUT RUSH and a revamped Be a Pro mode are some of the new additions to NHL 21.
Pre-orders for NHL 21 are currently available, and several editions of the new game are available. Let's take a look at all the editions available for pre-order, as well as the bonuses that will come with each version.
Three versions of NHL 21 are available: the Standard Edition, the Deluxe Edition and the Great Eight Edition. The Standard Edition costs $ 59,99 ($ 53,99 with EA Access), and it comes with several virtual items. Those who pre-order the NHL 21 Standard Edition will receive up to two Diamond Player Choice HUT packs (one pack for two months), a Be a Pro XP bonus, a Be a Pro specialization bonus, an additional Be a Pro trait and a Unlocked hockey bag for the world of CHEL. Individuals can pre-order the game digitally at Microsoft or PlayStation stores, or at various retailers including Amazon, Best Buy, and GameStop.
The Deluxe Edition, which costs $ 79,99 ($ 71,99 with EA Access), not only includes a copy of NHL 21, but also includes additional items that you won't find in the Standard Edition. The NHL 21 Deluxe Edition pre-order includes three days of full game access starting October 10, plus the following:
- Up to 5 Diamond Player Choice HUT packs (1 per month for 5 months)
- HUT Cover Athlete Choice Pack (Choix de: Ovechkin, Matthews, McDavid, Pettersson, Laine, Subban)
- HUT Synergy Veteran Choice Pack (choice 1 of 10; +1 OVR per month until August 2021)

The NHL 21 Deluxe Edition is available digitally at Microsoft and PlayStation stores, as well as on GameStop.
The third version of NHL 21 available is the Ultimate Edition, also known as the Great Eight Edition, named after game cover athlete Capitals LW Alex Ovechkin. The Great Eight Edition costs $ 99,99 ($ 89,99 with EA Access) and comes with the following:
