How to replace iPhone glass in service centers or through Apple
Apple support
If you want to entrust the replacement of the display directly to Apple and book a collection by the courier (it costs about € 12) you have two options:
1. Request it manually on the Apple website:
- Go to this address;
- Select the item "iPhone";
- Click on "Physical damage and repairs";
- Choose as motivation "The screen is cracked";
- Now you just have to choose "Send for shipment";
- Log in with your Apple ID and follow the directions to complete the fields to fill in for the withdrawal.
Apple will send you a box in which to insert your iPhone (without film, cover and SIM) and deliver to the courier, then the Cupertino giant will take about a week to return the device to you.
2. Call the Apple call center at the number 199 120 800 and establish with the operator the method of replacement and the date of delivery of the device to the courier.
Service Centers
Another choice is to take your iPhone to an Apple Store, Key Store (Apple Authorized Center) or third-party centers (phone shops in your cities).
In the first two cases, a salesman will show you the procedure for replacing the display, the timing and the price.
In the third case it is very unlikely that the glass of your iPhone will be replaced with an original one, but they will try to recommend displays from other brands to have lower costs (they earn more for labor), a choice that we do not recommend as there have been many problems several times. which did not allow the normal use of an Apple terminal.
