How to report chat on Telegram
Be your intention è report on Telegram a person who has contacted you privately in chat, you must know that you must first block the user in question and then choose the option to report it. Your report will be examined by the Telegram moderators who may decide to temporarily limit the reported account. Find everything explained in detail right below.
How to report a person on Telegram

If you prefer to proceed from computerInstead, you should know that it is not possible to report a user who has contacted you privately either by using the Telegram client for Windows and macOS or by accessing Telegram Web, the Web version of the famous messaging service.
However, in both cases you can prevent the user from contacting you again. To do this, click on chat of your interest among those visible in the sidebar on the left, click on name of the user you want to block and, in the new screen that appears, select the options Block user e Block. Finally, I would like to point out that you can also send a report via email. To do this, log in to your inbox, click on the button to create a new message, enter the address abuse@telegram.org in the field dedicated to the recipient of the message and type the subject "User reporting" in the appropriate field.
At this point, in the body of the message, enter the name, username and, if visible, the telephone number of the person who contacted you on Telegram and whom you intend to report (you can view this information by pressing the user's name displayed at the top of the chat) and describe in detail the reason for reporting.
In addition, if you find it useful, you can also attach any screenshots of the conversation by pressing the button for upload an attachment (usually the icon of the clip). How to report Telegram message
If you are wondering if it is possible report a Telegram message received in a single chat, I'm sorry to tell you the answer is no. All you can do is block and report the user who contacted you, as I indicated in the previous lines of this guide.
If, on the other hand, the “offending” message was sent in a group chat or in a Telegram channel, you can follow the instructions to report a group and report a channel that you find in the following paragraphs of this tutorial.
How to report a group on Telegram
All you need to do to report a group on Telegram is to access the description screen of the group of your interest and click on the option to send a report.
To do it from smartphones and tablets, start the Telegram app, tap on group of your interest, tap on the icon of three dots (if you have a iPhone / iPad, tap on group name and, then, on the icon of three dots) and select the option Report give the menu check if you press.
At this point, indicate the reason for your report by choosing one of the options available from Spam, Fake account, Violence, Child abuse, Pornografia e Other and, if prompted for the chosen option, select the “offending” messages. Once this is done, enter any additional details in the ready field and fai tap sul pulsating Send report, to signal the previously selected group.
If, on the other hand, you want report a Telegram user who sent a specific message, tap the message in question (if you have a iPhone / iPad do a long tap) and select the option Report from the opened menu. Again, indicate the reason for your report (Spam, Violence, Copyright, Pornografia, Child abuse e Other), enter any details relevant to your report in the field Additional details and press pulsating Report, to send the report.
If you prefer to proceed from computer, start the Telegram app on your PC, select the group you want to report in the sidebar on the left and, in the new screen displayed, click on group name displayed above.
Adesso, premium pulsating Report, choose one of the options displayed on the screen (Spam, False, Violence, Pornografia, Copyright etc. ) to indicate the reason for your report and, if requested, put the check mark next to Message to report. Finally, in the screenshot Report, enter any additional details in the field Additional details and click on the button Report, to send your report.
Alternatively, you can also report a specific message sent by a user within the group. If so, right click on the message in question, select the option Report from the menu that appears, indicate the reason for the report by choosing one of the available options (Spam, Violence, Copyright etc.) and press the button Report.
If your intention is to report a group from Telegram Web, you should know that by accessing the Web version of the famous messaging service it is possible to report only single messages. To do so, access the group of your interest, click on the icon three dots, select i Message to report and press on the item Report. Then indicate the reason for reporting by placing a check mark next to one of the options available on the screen Report and click on the button Send, to report the selected messages.
Finally, if you deem it appropriate, you can also leave the group in question and the procedure for doing so is identical to that for sending a report: the only difference is that you will have to choose the option Leave the group/Leave instead of pressing on the item Report. How to report a channel on Telegram
The procedure for report a channel on Telegram it is almost identical to what I indicated in the previous lines of this guide to report a group. In fact, even in this case, all you have to do is access the channel settings and choose the option to send a report.
To proceed from smartphones and tablets, start the Telegram app, access the channels you want to report, press the icon of three dotsat the top right and select the option Report. If you are using Telegram on iPhone / iPad, you must first press on canal nome displayed at the top and then tap on the icon of three dots.
At this point, select one of the options visible on the screen (Spam, False, Copyright etc.) to indicate the reason for your report and, if necessary, put a check mark next to the "offending" messages. Then enter further details of your report in the field Additional details and press pulsating Report, to send the report.
Alternatively, if you want to report a single message, tap the message of your interest (on iPhone / iPad make a long tap), select the option Report from the menu that opens and indicates the reason of your report by choosing one of the options visible on the screen. If prompted for your chosen option, enter additional details of your report in the appropriate field, click on the button Report And that's it.
To report a Telegram channel from computerinstead, start the app in question, select the channels of your interest among the chats available in the sidebar on the left and then click on canal nome displayed above. Now, click on the option Report, indicate the reason for the report (Spam, False, Violence etc.) and, if necessary, select i Message to report.
If you wish, enter any details relevant to your report in the field Additional details and click on the button Report, to send the report. If you'd rather report a single post, instead, right-click on the message of your interest and choose the option Report.
Also in this case, by accessing Telegram Web it is not possible to report a channel but only single messages published within it. To do this, log in to the channels of your interest, click on the icon three dotsat the top right and select the option Select messages.
Then put the check mark next to Message to report, press the button Reportselect il reason for reporting by placing a check mark next to one of the options available on the screen Report and click on the button Send, to send the report to the Telegram moderators.
How to report a bot on Telegram
Be your intention è report a bot on Telegram you should know that this option is only available using the messaging app on iPhone / iPad. Also, it will be useful to know that it is not possible to report a verified bot.
That said, to report a bot on Telegram, take your iPhone / iPad, access the section Chat do tap sul muzzle of your interest. In the new screen that appears, tap on bot name displayed the top, tap on the option Report and, from the menu that appears, select one of the options available from Spam, Violence, Pornografia, Child abuse, Copyright e Other, to indicate the reason for your report.
If prompted for the chosen option, place the check mark next to Message to report, press on the item Report messages and, in the new screen that appears, enter more details in the field Additional details. Then press the button Report And that's it.
If, on the other hand, the Telegram bot you intend to report is used within a group you belong to, access the group in question, tap on group name displayed at the top and, in the section Members, tap on bot name. Then choose the option Report, indicate the reason for your report and click on the button Report.
As mentioned above, on smartphones and tablets equipped with Android and using Telegram from a PC, it is not possible to report a bot. However, by accessing the bot of your interest and selecting a single message sent by the bot itself, you can send a report relating to that specific message.
