Hardly in our appointments with the Customization we dedicate an entire episode to a single application, in this case KLWP deserves it thanks to the enormous possibilities we have available and the huge community behind it.
We assume that KLWP it is a paid application, or rather it has a free version with which you can create homescreens from scratch, but in this episode we will see which are the best presets and skins downloadable from the Play Store and how to use them. First step: Nova Launcher
The first step is to download an alternative launcher, we recommend you in this case Nova Launcher because it is one of the lightest and most immediate. After installing Nova you will have to delete all the components you have on the home: icons, widgets or whatever, you will need to have a completely clean home, then go to the settings and disable the dock in order to have all the free space.
Nova also allows you to hide easily status bar and navigation bar within the appearance menu. In reality it is not necessary to go and use these options, but keep them in mind because they will be activated or deactivated according to the home used.
The last option to use from Nova is the one related to gesture, since we will be using a live wallpaper as a basic skin, you may want to use the gestures on that same skin to directly access applications, system services or whatever.
PK Kustom LWP Pack
Let's start with what is probably the best package ever available completely free: PK Kustom LWP Pack, download it from the PlayStore and install it. Then open the KLWP app: to install a skin coming from a pack just downloaded just open the scroll menu on the right, tap on “load preset” and all the plugins you have previously installed will come out, as in KWGT.
Then select the desired package, for each home there is a predefined number of pages, to keep in mind because we will need it. One of the most beautiful skins in this pack is SKIN PK 10, then go and select it, as it uses 3 pages, tap on the screen icon along the right bar and change the number of horizontal screens in 3. Only then will the wallpaper work properly.
However, you will have to change the number of screens on Nova too, to do so long tap on the home and increase or decrease the number to get 3. Now the animation will work perfectly and as we would expect.

Hud KLWP
The second skin we want to show you is also free, it's called HUD but we anticipate that it is particularly not sober. The home consists of a single page, as mentioned we are on levels for real daredevils, at the bottom right there is the diagnostics with RAM, CPU and internal memory occupied, in the center a particularly strange clock with a lot of date, on the left there is is the battery indicator and at the top the temperature, alarm clock and other information.

The third pack is paid but only costs 99 cents: all the skins have only one page, but as you can see in the video in this article, the animations and movements of the wallpaper will help us. There are 4 versions, each with their own background and base colors.
If you have a navigation bar this skin will overlap, so you can proceed in two ways:
- hide the bar thanks to the dedicated options in Nova Launcher
- activate the wallpaper setting to work with the active bar, you can find it by clicking on the "plus" button and going to the "profile" menu
Also on this page you will find others quick toggle, the main links to social networks and applications that are usually used most on a smartphone. Other pages that you find in the wallpaper concern a nice calendar with the latest appointments, the page on the weather and the inevitable one of the music, all very graphically and well done.

Slide Card for KLWP
For the last package we return to the completely free skins, and with something much less invasive: the plugin is called Slide Card and it has two versions, one if you use the software navigation bar, another if you have hardware navigation buttons.
The setup is two pages, so remember to change the corresponding settings. This skin does nothing but add a sort of huge widget: if you are on the main page it takes the form of a vertical column where you can see the clock, battery, do a search and view the album of the artist you are listening to, if you do one swype to the left you will expand the widget, enlarging all the sections and having more information.
