How to run an RPO in Madden 21

Last year, the developers at Madden added the Execution Pass (RPO) option to the franchise. RPOs are hands-on games that give you the option to run football or quickly transmit it to an open receiver. RPOs are back for Madden 21, and the developers have also added new execution pass options. So how do you handle an RPO in Madden 21? Let's see what you need to do.

There are several ways to find an RPO game to call, but a really easy way to do that is to click on the Play Type option on the Call Play screen first. From there, scroll until you see the RPO screen, then press A / X. Here, you'll see a number of sets of racing pass options to choose from, and you'll be able to see what the training is, as well as who the intended target is (this is indicated by a red line). If you have a specific formation in mind that you want to use, you can also invoke the game by selecting the Concept option.

After calling up the game, press A / X to break the ball and start the game. Once you have done that you can either decide to go ahead and throw the ball (this is the value by default). Or, you can quickly press the button above the wide receiver that is the intended target for playback.

Keep in mind that this decision to run or pass will have to be made quickly. Make sure you have taken enough time to read the coverage and roster of the defensive line and linebackers before making your choice.
