YouTube Premium pricing
Before explaining in detail how to skip advertising on youtube, it will be useful to know that to succeed in your intent you must activate YouTube Premium. As I explained to you in the introductory paragraphs of this guide, it is a subscription service: if you are wondering what the costs of the service are, you should know that there are several plans to choose from.
- YouTube Premium: Remove ads on YouTube and YouTube Music, access movies and songs offline, and play them in the background. It also gives you access to YouTube Originals, to watch original movies and series. It has a recurring cost of 11,99 euro / month (15,99 euro / month on iPhone and iPad, by subscribing through iTunes) with a one-month free trial.
- YouTube Premium Family: at the cost of 17,99 euro / month (22,99 euro / month on iPhone and iPad, by subscribing through iTunes) allows access to YouTube Premium features for up to 6 family members. A one month free trial is available.
- YouTube Music Premium: allows you to remove advertisements on YouTube Music, Google's music streaming service. It also allows you to download songs for offline listening and play songs in the background. There is a three-month free trial with no strings attached, after which it renews at the cost of 9,99 euro / month (12,99 euro / month on iPhone and iPad with one month free trial).
- YouTube Music Premium Family: is the YouTube Music Premium solution designed for families. It allows access to a maximum of 6 people residing in the same house and has a cost of 14,99 euro / month (19,99 euro / month on iPhone and iPad, by subscribing through iTunes) with a one-month free trial.
In order to activate the YouTube Premium free trial, you must be logged in to YouTube with your Google account. If you don't have one yet, you can read my guide on how to create Google account.

If, on the other hand, you want to skip commercials only when playing songs on Google's music streaming platform, simply activate YouTube Music Premium.
To proceed, start the application of YouTube Music (Android / iOS) and, if you have not already done so, log in to your account by pressing the icon of thelittle man top right. To avoid unwanted costs at the end of the free trial, if you have a device Android (or you have activated a Premium subscription from a computer), start the YouTube or YouTube Music app (if you have activated YouTube Music Premium), tap on your photo at the top right and choose the option Paid subscriptions.

You can deactivate the automatic renewal of your subscription at any time and without any restrictions. To proceed, connected to the YouTube site or the YouTube Music site, click on yours photo at the top right and select the option Paid subscriptions from the menu that appears. Press the button Unsubscribe present in the box relating to YouTube Premium o Youtube Music Premium, indicate the reason for your choice, press the button NEXT e Yes, Cancel And that's it.
