How to start the Prophecy Dungeon in Destiny 2

A new dungeon unleashing alongside the Destiny 2 Arrivals season is called the Prophecy Dungeon. It was a surprise adventure for all players of the game, but it wasn't available immediately after a live stream hosted by Bungie on June 9. The dungeon became available that day at 17:00 p.m. PDT.

For those keen to check out the dungeon and try it out for yourself, you will need to bring two additional players with you. You might not want to spend the first few hours of the arrivals season trying to get started. Instead, try going through the foundational parts of the new season with Eris and Drifter to receive more levels of light. It's a high level activity, so you can expect to receive some of the best gear in the game, and it requires high level gear to participate.

To start the dungeon, go to the tower and click on the dungeon icon where the Drifter is on the left side of the map. You don't need to tell the Drifter about it, but you can for a brief dialogue with him, which doesn't do much other than notify you of a disturbance. By completing the dungeon, you will gain access to Pinnacle Gear, thus increasing your Destiny 2 level. The recommended light level for the dungeon is level 1040.

We get a quick look at the dungeon in a trailer released by Bungie. Completing the dungeon rewards players with a variety of new gear and some new ones that you can earn by repeating the event regularly. For those who want to be successful often, be sure to bring in people who know how to bring their A-game. The appearance of the dungeon is relatively delicate as the Guardians enter a unique dimension to face a new threat. It will be a massive dungeon as we see Guardians crossing the area with the help of sparrows, so expect a huge event.
