Even though the long-awaited Halo: Infinite has been delayed in 2021, you can still earn exclusive gear for the game ahead of its release. As part of a partnership with Monster Energy, players who purchase Monster-specific Halo: Infinite branded cans can earn four exclusive gun skins, two player banners, and two player icons. As you can imagine, this pack will be monster themed with green and black.
In addition to the in-game skins, these cans will give you double XP once the game is released. Not only will you get a new set of weapons, but you'll also have an easier time getting more items once we can finally get into the game in January.
Unfortunately, we don't yet see what player skins will look like, but it does give us an idea of what skins may come in the future. You will be able to unlock these items from Tuesday, September 1, when the promotion officially begins. It will run until December 31, so you'll have plenty of time to collect this gear before it's too late.
How to unlock Monster Energy skins
It's a bit of a roundabout process, so buckle up. You can unlock the goods by:
- Purchase a promotional Monster Energy, available in select stores nationwide.
- Take a photo of the receipt.
- Create an account on the Monster Energy X Halo Infinite promotional website and upload this image. Every time you send one, you earn points for unlocking a code.
- Create an account on HaloWaypoint.com and enter the code you unlocked. This will give you access to the content and enter you into a raffle to win an Xbox Series X and a copy of Halo: Infinite.
