Patch 1.3 for Stardew Valley brought players the new movie theater that you are free to enjoy with your friends, but not until another Group Quest.
Once you have completed the Community Center quest, the path to starting up and running the cinema begins. There are two options:
- If you've kept the community center intact, Joja Mart is abandoned and the cinema takes its place.
- If you've joined Joja Mart, Morris will take over the community center, turning it into the Joja Warehouse, and from there you can pay 500g to turn it into a cinema.
The first has one final task for you: the missing lot. The night before the valley's first rainy day after unlocking the Community Center, there is a cutscene of a lightning bolt hitting and opening the doors of the abandoned Joja Mart. You can go investigate the building the next day, and you'll find one last Junimo dropping the Bundle tile.
The requirements are a bit more complicated than usual. It is necessary:
- A quality Silver Star wine
- Dinosaur Mayonnaise
- A prismatic shine
- 5 old fruits of gold star quality
- An empty Gold Star salmon
- Caviar
Once the package is taken care of, the Junimos will do their job, the movie theater will be open the next day, and you'll be ready for all the fun it has to offer.
