In professional wrestling, steel cage matches are rather straightforward. To win, you can try to pin or subdue your opponent inside the cage. Or, you can try to escape the cage by exiting the front door or exiting the structure. In WWE 2K Battlegrounds, the match works a bit differently, and you'll need to know how to fight your way through the cage, especially since there will be several of them in Campaign mode. So how do you win a Steel Cage match? Let's see what you need to do.
At the start of the match, you and the opponent will start with an empty silver bar, which is new for WWE 2K Battlegrounds. The goal is to fill this bar to the top, and to do this you will need to collect bags of money that will be placed randomly on the walls of the cage. Once you've found a bag, move your wrestler to the bag, then resize the cage using LB (for Xbox) or L1 (for PlayStation).
Keep an eye out for those money bags. These are your tickets to get out of the cage.To hold and lower the bag, you will need to hold LB / L1 for a short time. You will need to watch the circle around the LB / L1 symbol, as when completed you will have successfully grabbed the bag. However, keep in mind that the opposing wrestler may prevent you from grabbing the bag by trying to pull you down the cage. Make sure that when you try to grab a sack you have weakened the opponent enough. This should give you plenty of time to cut the money.
There will also be silver circles that will appear on the ring apron at random. To catch them, simply move your wrestler towards him using the left joystick.
Once you have completely filled the silver bar, you can then attempt to exit the cage. Climb the cage ladder, then press the button that appears on the screen once you reach the top. After that, the opponent can only watch as you break out of the cage and come out of the match in the lead.
