There are a number of ways your story can end in Man of Medan; each character can reach their end in various situations throughout the game. This means that reaching the perfect ending can be hard work, with some crucial choices and quick events to perfect.
This guide will focus on the critical choices essential to achieving the best ending, regardless of how many characters you have kept alive.
Using the radio
As you explore the ghost ship, there will come a time when you will be looking for a radio. When you find him you try to call for help, you don't have to give your details to the military. Doing so will have dire consequences for all of the characters remaining at the end of the story.
Then the generator will shut down, and you have the choice of bringing it back to life or not. Don't do this; if the generator is restarted, the army will follow your position, ultimately causing the same fate as giving your position. Giving your details doesn't mean certain death if you can get to Fliss' boat on time with the distributor cap.
Keep the distibutor cap in contact
The distributor cap plays an important role in your survival. without him, the group is doomed, Fliss' boat is the only way to leave the ghost ship safely. There will be several quick events involving the dispenser cap, correct all of them and the cap will not be damaged. If you stay alive with the dispenser cap until it is usable, all remaining characters will leave Fliss' boat.
This is the best possible ending. leaving the whole group alive to stay on the boat will give your story the perfect finish.
