New Death's Stranding footage on Gamescom has everyone dreaming about it

The Death's Stranding trailers launched on Gamescom 2019 opening night, to everyone's delight. The game has come a long way since its first reveal in 2016, especially with plot details and characters revealed in the trailers. Gamescom 2019 opening night showed three trailers featuring Mama, Deadman, and Bridge Baby.

In Death's Stranding Mama Trailer, we see Sam, played by actor Norman Reedus, and the character "Mama", played by actress Margaret Qualley. Afterwards, Hideo Kojima, the video game designer behind Death Stranding and many other titles (Metal Gear series), explained some details to the Gamescom audience, as the trailer was vague, like d habit.

Kojima said that all of the game's many characters have their own sub-story, aside from their roles in the game's main story. Mum comes in at the very beginning and her baby, the one seen in the trailer, is born. on the "other side" and the two are still connected by the umbilical cord. Listen to Mr. Hideo himself:

The following trailer showed us another character, whom we had previously known. It's The Deadman, played by famous filmmaker and Oscar winner Guillermo Del Toro for his films Pan's Labyrinth, for best director, and The Shape of Water, for best film. Sam walks in and calls out "Deadman," but when Guillermo's character appears, he names him Ted. The two then explain to the audience about the “Bridge Baby” and a bit more about the mentioned “Otherside”, which is the world of the dead as it appears.

Mr. Hideo Kojima then showed the audience real gameplay footage and revealed a bit more about both worlds and “Otherside”. Much to the delight of spectators at Gamescom 2019, Mr Kojima was forced to film the game after teasing the crowd a bit. After the Death's Stranding trailer kicks off, the reaction is priceless.

    Here it is, enjoy it:
