Outer Worlds: Peril On Gorgon DLC - How to start the expansion quest and reach Gorgon

Okay, it's not really a planet. You will visit the floating asteroid research colony on Gorgon. Formerly run by the company Spacer's Choice, the region is now a lawless space rock filled with mad marauders. This is a top tier location as well, so you'll have to wait until the game is almost over before fully exploring the challenges inside. There are more perks to unlock, more special weapons to find, and a great mystery to unravel. Basically that's all we want from an expansion.

How to start the expansion quest and reach Gorgon

Before you can start the 'Those who move away from Gorgon“Quest, you will have to leave the home planet and acquire the Unreliable. The quest is available at any time thereafter.

The Gorgon zone is available for Level 25 ~ characters, so you'll want to wait until the end of the game to resolve this issue!

  • To start the main quest, simply travel somewhere in your ship, the Unreliable.
  • You will receive a message from a parcel company. Accept the parcel!
  • Go to the ship's hold and check the box on the ground. It contains a human arm with a message recorder!

I recommend waiting until later to play this quest. This unlocks a new planet, but you'll get a lot more dialogue if you collect the chest with a full compliment from party members. Everyone has something to say!

It doesn't take too long to reach level 25 if you explore all you can and do quests. Even if you're not at level 25, you'll find better gear and weapons on Gorgon, allowing you to quickly catch up.
