Red Dead Online Summer Update: What You Need To Know

Red Dead Online Summer Update: What You Need To Know

Like many of you reading this, I've been a part of Red Dead online ever since Rockstar first launched the beta, and like many of you, I've been immersing myself in the game after the update. day of each novelty of each update. Now don't get me wrong, considering the state of the game at the time of its release, where we were before the new additions yesterday, that was pretty impressive. Rockstar had taken a game that was sterile at best and added more and more to the point that it was fun to play but still lacked something. There didn't seem to be anything that could make you come back to the game over and over again.

Rockstar announced a few weeks ago that they would be releasing a huge summer update that would change the landscape of Red Dead online and this news was enough to pique the interest of many players like me, but did they could hold? Well after spending a few hours in the Wild West since installing the 11gb file I have to say it looks like they're not lying. So what are the biggest additions to Red Dead online? Keep reading to find out.

Border chases

Red Dead Online Frontier Pursuits is the biggest and biggest change to the game since its first appearance. That's basically how Rockstar adds classes and takes a more traditional MMORPG route, but in my time playing online, I don't think it's been done in such a fun way. I won't go into the details of each role here, as I intend to describe them in a separate guide over the next few days, but suffice it to say that choosing to become a Hunter bonuses do not matter. As a collector or trader, whichever path you choose will make the whole Red Dead Online experience completely new. On their own, these new roles are worth launching your copy if you haven't already and heading back to Rockstar's Wild, Wild, West. Don't break any laws or else bounty hunter Jane Doe will come for you.

Wheeler, Rawson & Co. Club

It's something each of us gets for free when we log into Red Dead Online, and since a lot of new additions to the game cost a lot of gold, it's a very useful little club. This means that between September 10 and November 18, you will be able to create new clothes, accessories, special gun clothing, bonus money, a free care package, a brand new password, as well as that a new flag for your side. this is just the tip of the iceberg. The only thing that doesn't come with it is a plush, but you might have to move on to the next entry to get it.

Pass Outlaw

As a member of the Wheeler, Rawson and Co. club, you'll have the option to upgrade your package with the Outlaw Pass package, but be warned: at 35 gold, it's not expensive. However, it gives you a lot more than the entry-level option, like exclusive clothing, flashier styles for your guns, more knickknacks for your campsite, even more free money, as well as vouchers. purchase specials, but best of all is that If you manage to make your way through the 70 levels that come with it, you will get a bonus of 35 gold, which means the Outlaw Pass pays off .

New Free Roam events

Free roaming events in Red Dead Online can be quite fun at times, but unless you're good enough at taking on other players, whatever you choose, they're normally quite frustrating. After all, it's only very often that you can join a game and get killed within the first 15 seconds of it, before it gets really old. But if that's your bag, you'll be happy to know that Rockstar has included four new free traveling events that appear to be class-specific. They are:

Manhunt

Day of recognition

Trade route

Rescue

These can only be unlocked by progressing in the area of your choice, but as you will continue to progress, it's not a chore.

New dynamic events

Personally, I had been hoping that Rockstar would fix this for a while now and although I haven't experienced one yet, as I am spending all of my time chasing bounties right now. , this can only be an improvement of the standard tariff. There are really only many times when you can help someone whose horse is dead, fight, or save an idiot who has been kidnapped before you want to ride the next stranger who tries to take you down.

More items in store

It looks like Rockstar has decided that if you want to make the money, you might as well just spend that money and add more items than you can shake a muskrat. this includes everything from new beards and hairstyles, to new weapons and clothes, to all the stitches in between, which means you really have no excuse to rack up all that money and surely you won't have any to fail. not be at your best as you roam the plains.

Lots of fixes and improvements

Yes, when I say a lot, I really mean a lot. Looks like the little programming elves at Rockstar have been working hard to sort out and polish every aspect of the online experience. Get rid of those horrible bugs that might make it nearly impossible to advance story mode to do so so that if someone shoots you, now you know where they're from. And that's just the beginning. looks like they overhauled the whole engine and it already seems to be making a difference. I swear they even went so far as to change the weather system and make something that was already impressive to be more realistic than anything that came before, outside of actual weather conditions.

New passive ability cards

Nine new passive ability cards have been added to the new update. Here is what they are and what they do.

Sniper: Using a scope means you deal more damage and take less.

Ass Kick: Taking damage adds a bit to your dead eye.

Live For the fight: You regenerate Dead Eye over time.

Friends For Life: While on horseback you both take less damage.

Fool Me Once: Less damage is taken each time you are shot. Effects cease if you are left untouched for 10 seconds.

Lung of Steel: Your stamina regenerates faster and you take less damage.

Strength in Numbers: You have less damage when you are near an ally, up to a maximum of three.

Gunslinger's choice: Dueling means you deal more damage and are more precise.

Ride like the wind: On your horse, any damage you do or take will add to your steed's health and stamina.

** The last three on this list are the first accesses to the PS4. **

PS4 Early Access

To go along with the three early access cards from the previous entry, Rockstar has other perks that those of us who play with the Sony console will receive before anyone else. They are:

American Foxhound camp dog.

Shoot the Sky Emote.

Two thumbs up from carrigan.

Burnham Boots.

Avery gloves.

Butcher's table.

$ 250 to play between now and October 14.

And if you have the Ultimate Edition, you'll have access to all of that and you won't have to pay for the two new horses that you unlock as the Bounty Hunter progresses. All of this means that there has never been a better time to get back in the saddle and set off for Rockstar. Red Dead online.
