If you've made it to the Ice Caves, you may have discovered a strange sword in a stone. It is always at the level 4-2 - but to pull the Excalibur, you must become king. To become king, you must claim a crown.
The Excalibur is close range 1-hit KO weapon. It's very similar to the Worm Tooth Knife - let's break down all the steps needed to get it.
Step # 1: Get the Udjat Eye
le Eye of Udjat is a special artifact found in the house, the first area of the game. While progressing through the stages, look for a treasure room containing a locked trunk. There will always be a golden key somewhere in the level.
Find the golden key, enter the room and open the chest to get the Oudjat Eye.
Step 2: Enter Vlad's Castle
Vlad Castle comes back in. To get there, go to Volcana region (alternate path from the housing - always use the correct exit in the last level of the caves) and look for a large drill in an alien block.
With Eye of Udjat, the drill will activate and run. Follow the path down for an optional exit leading to Vlad Castle.
Step # 3: Collect the crown
Vlad Castle is a difficult level. Reach the top of the castle and defeat Vlad to claim the King crown. Now you need to take it with you and progress to the Ice Caves - which is the fourth biome.
Step # 4: Pull the sword out of the stone
Reach the ice caves by continuing on the path to the dungeon. Once you reach 4-2, look for a sword in the stone. If you have the crown with you, you will be able withdraw the sword and claim it.
