Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order - How to Get Double Jump

Jedi Flip - AKA Double Jump - is learned when you can access Shadowlands.

Yes, despite all those long jumps Cal could have had his epiphany, he doesn't actually remember knowing how to double the jump until late in Kashyyyk. You'll need Force Pull to reach the Shadowlands, which required you to grab Force Push and a few other upgrades before. What I'm trying to say is that this is one of the latest improvements that Cal has made. If you want it ASAP, you have to delve into this story.

Once you reach the Shadowlands all you need to do is follow the main objective and climb up to the origin. You will eventually come across the jump shown on the map above: just jump the first two plants as you normally would, and when Cal realizes he can't reach the third, he'll have a flashback. Like his other skills in Force, you'll take a brief tutorial as a young Cal, and then return to modern times with your Jedi Flip - AKA the Double Jump skill. You can also find the Double Bladed Lightsaber along this path if you haven't tried it out sooner.

The reason Jedi Flip is learned so late in the game is due to Dathomir: you have to go through an area with double jump to progress further on the planet, but it will lead you to an area you cannot leave. without pulling force. Personally, I learned this the hard way when the game got confused and allowed me to do a double jump when I shouldn't have. Considering the way Fallen Order handles saving, I was basically stuck and had to restart the game. So, yeah, that's why Jedi Flip is the last ability Cal unlocks.
