The story of Apple's Jordyn Castor: making technology inclusive and accessible to all.

Blind since birth, Apple engineer Jordyn Castor is determined not to let anything stop her and dedicates her career to making computer programming more inclusive.

Mission Unstoppable with Miranda Cosgrove honors women who have transformed into STEM careers (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics, i.e. Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics).

Jordyn Castor became popular in 2016 when her story first came out.

    In his own words:

“I was the first completely blind student to major in computer science in the state of Michigan.

After graduation, I moved to San Francisco to start my career as a software engineer.

I now work full-time at Apple on the accessibility team. My work is fantastic, I work with a group of people who are passionate about making sure everyone can enjoy our products and features through accessibility.

Through my work to improve the quality of features such as VoiceOver, I am able to give back to the blind community "some of what it has given me, as well as making technology more accessible than ever to future generations of the blind."

I feel blessed and grateful for this opportunity ”.
